The 1590NBK is the black powder coated version of the 1590N diecast aluminum enclosure. It gives pedal builders, instrument designers and OEM integrators a finished black metal box sized for P.C. boards up to 112.24 mm by 56.34 mm, with internal ribs that act as board guides.
The enclosure is diecast aluminum alloy, tough yet easy to machine, painted with tough satin black polyester powder paint for a lasting finish even after machining. Black screws are included to enhance appearance. The purchased assembly includes box, lid and 4 cover screws (M3.5x0.6) threaded into factory-tapped holes. Recommended torque is 50-55 cN.m [71-78 ozf.in], or 25-30 cN.m [36-43 ozf.in] with a gasket. Lap joint construction protects against dust and splashing water, and the standard enclosure is rated IP54.
