The 1590KFBK combines the 125 mm x 125 mm x 79 mm (4.92 in x 4.92 in x 3.11 in) 1590K body with a welded flanged bottom plate and a textured black finish. It is a practical choice for integrators and OEMs mounting electronics on walls, panels or equipment where a black, finished enclosure is wanted.
The finish is a tough polyester powder paint that stays intact even after machining, and black screws are included to complete the look. Underneath is diecast aluminum alloy with a lap joint lid that protects against dust and splashing water; the standard version is designed to meet IP54.
According to the drawing, the flange plate is 154.18 mm [6.070 in] long and 112.06 mm [4.412 in] wide, with 3.96 mm [0.156 in] holes spaced 142.90 mm x 100.58 mm [5.626 in x 3.960 in]. Overall height including the flange is 80.50 mm [3.169 in]. Inside, the box offers 118.10 mm x 118.10 mm x 73.50 mm [4.650 x 4.650 x 2.894 in], and P.C. boards up to 116.1 mm square fit. Side wall draft is 2° or less.
