Hammond 1590HF 53x38x31mm Diecast Enclosure, Flanged Bottom Plate

The 1590HF is the small 1590H diecast aluminum enclosure, nominally 2.07 in x 1.5 in x 1.22 in (53 mm x 38 mm x 31 mm), with a flanged bottom plate for screw-down mounting. Installers and equipment builders can use it to fix a tiny electronics module securely to a wall, panel or chassis.

The manufacturer drawing shows the flange extending overall length to 81.03 mm [3.190 in], with 3.96 mm [.156 in] mounting holes on 69.75 mm [2.746 in] centres, and an overall height of 32.50 mm [1.280 in]. Inside, the box is 48.63 mm [1.914 in] long, 34.13 mm [1.344 in] wide and 27.30 mm [1.075 in] high, taking P.C. boards up to 47.63 x 33.13 mm.

Box and lid are diecast aluminum alloy, tough yet easy to machine. This natural version is unpainted and vibra finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges. The lap joint where lid and box meet protects against dust and splashing water, the standard enclosure is designed to meet IP54, and side walls are drafted at 2° or less.

The lid is secured with screws threaded into four factory-tapped 6-32 UNC holes. For IP65 protection, the water-tight version is 1590WHF, or add the 1590HGASKET kit. The 1590HF is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships shrink wrapped at 0.15 lbs (0.07 kg).
