Hammond 1590HFBK 53x38x31mm Black Diecast Box, Flanged Bottom Plate

The 1590HFBK is a miniature textured black diecast aluminum enclosure, nominally 2.07 in x 1.5 in x 1.22 in (53 mm x 38 mm x 31 mm), with a flanged bottom plate. It is suited to integrators and OEM builders mounting a small module in a finished black metal case on a wall, panel or equipment frame.

The drawing shows an overall flange length of 81.03 mm [3.190 in], mounting holes of 3.96 mm [.156 in] on 69.75 mm [2.746 in] centres, and 32.50 mm [1.280 in] overall height. The interior is 48.63 mm [1.914 in] long, 34.13 mm [1.344 in] wide and 27.30 mm [1.075 in] high, and accepts P.C. boards up to 47.63 x 33.13 mm.

Diecast aluminum alloy box and lid are coated with a tough textured black polyester powder paint for a lasting finish, even after machining, and black screws are included. Lap joint construction guards against dust and splashing water to an IP54 design rating. The side wall draft angle is 2° or less for easy board mounting.

Lid screws thread into four factory-tapped 6-32 UNC holes. The water-tight black version is 1590WHFBK, and the 1590HGASKET kit converts the 1590HFBK to IP65. RoHS and REACH compliant; ships shrink wrapped at 0.15 lbs (0.07 kg).
