The 1590GFLBK pairs the small 1590G footprint, 3.94 in x 1.97 in x 1 in (100 mm x 50 mm x 25 mm), with a wall-mounting flange integrated into the lid and a textured black finish. It is designed for integrators and electronics builders who want a discreet, dark metal housing that fixes directly to a wall or panel.
The lid flange gives an overall length of 126.50 mm [4.980 in] on the drawing, with mounting holes on 113.00 mm [4.449 in] centres and an overall height of 25.50 mm [1.004 in]. Usable interior space is 95.23 mm [3.749 in] x 45.23 mm [1.781 in] with 20.70 mm [.815 in] of height; the maximum P.C. board is 94.23 x 44.23 mm.
Diecast aluminum alloy is tough yet easy to machine, and this version is coated with a tough textured polyester powder paint that stays intact even after machining. Black screws are included to complete the look. The lap joint between lid and box keeps out dust and splashing water to an IP54 design rating, and side walls are drafted at 2° or less for easy P.C. board mounting.
Shrink wrapped with box, lid and four 6-32 UNC cover screws (recommended torque 50-55 cN.m [71-78 ozf.in]), the 1590GFLBK is RoHS and REACH compliant and weighs 0.26 lbs (0.12 kg). The water-tight black version is 1590WGFLBK, and the 1590GGASKET kit offers an IP65 upgrade path.
