The 1590G2FLBK is a textured black diecast aluminum enclosure, nominally 3.94 in x 1.97 in x 1.22 in (100 mm x 50 mm x 31 mm), with the wall-mounting flange built into the lid. It is meant for integrators and OEM teams who need a compact, dark-finished metal housing with extra internal height that mounts flat to a wall or panel.
Per the drawing, the lid flange runs 126.50 mm [4.980 in] overall with mounting holes on 113.00 mm [4.449 in] centres, and overall height is 31.00 mm [1.220 in]. The inside measures 94.82 mm [3.733 in] long, 44.82 mm [1.764 in] wide and 26.70 mm [1.051 in] high, and accepts P.C. boards up to 93.82 x 43.82 mm.
The diecast aluminum alloy is tough yet easy to machine, and the tough textured black polyester powder paint keeps a lasting finish even after machining. Black screws are included to enhance appearance. Lap joint construction protects against dust and splashing water to an IP54 design rating, and side walls have a 2° or less draft angle for easy board mounting.
Shipped shrink wrapped with box, lid and four 6-32 UNC cover screws (recommended torque 50-55 cN.m [71-78 ozf.in]), the 1590G2FLBK is RoHS and REACH compliant. For IP65 choose the 1590WG2FLBK or install the 1590GGASKET kit.
