The 1590G2FL is the 1590G2 diecast aluminum enclosure, nominally 3.94 in x 1.97 in x 1.22 in (100 mm x 50 mm x 31 mm), with a wall-mounting flange integrated into the lid. It is a practical choice for installers and product builders who want to mount the enclosure by its lid against a wall or panel.
The drawing shows an overall length of 126.50 mm [4.980 in] across the lid flange, lid mounting holes on 113.00 mm [4.449 in] centres and an overall height of 31.00 mm [1.220 in]. Inside dimensions are 94.82 mm [3.733 in] long, 44.82 mm [1.764 in] wide and 26.70 mm [1.051 in] high; maximum P.C. board size is 93.82 x 43.82 mm.
Box and lid are diecast aluminum alloy, tough yet easy to machine. This natural version is unpainted and vibra finished with a smooth surface and no sharp edges. The lap joint where lid meets box protects against dust and splashing water, the enclosure is designed to meet IP54, and side walls have a draft angle of 2° or less.
The 1590G2FL comes shrink wrapped with box, lid and four 6-32 UNC cover screws (recommended torque 50-55 cN.m [71-78 ozf.in]). The water-tight version is 1590WG2FL; the 1590GGASKET kit also upgrades it to IP65. RoHS and REACH compliant, 0.26 lbs (0.12 kg).
