The 1590FFL is the square 1590F diecast aluminum enclosure with a flanged lid, where the wall-mounting flange is integrated into the lid. With a nominal 188 x 188 x 67 mm (7.4 x 7.4 x 2.64 in) body and room for 174.91 x 174.91 mm PC boards, it suits integrators mounting larger electronics on walls or panels.
The box and lid are natural diecast aluminum alloy, vibra finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges. A lap joint where the lid meets the box protects against dust and splashing water, and the standard 1590FFL is designed to meet IP54. Side walls have a draft angle of 2° or less for easy board mounting.
The drawing lists an overall length of 217.00 mm [8.543 in] including the lid flange, a box width of 188.00 mm and a height of 67.00 mm. Inside width is 178.50 mm and inside height is 61.51 mm. Shipping weight is 1.97 lb (0.89 kg).
Eight cover screws are included and thread into factory-tapped 6-32 UNC holes; recommended torque is 50-55 cN.m. The ordering table lists 1590FGASKET as the replacement gasket kit; with it, 1590WMS100 stainless O-ring screws and 25-30 cN.m lid torque, the enclosure can be brought to an IP65 design. The water-tight version is 1590WFFL.
RoHS and REACH compliant and shrink wrapped. Factory milling, drilling and printing are offered, and STEP or IGES models are available.
