Hammond 1590DFLBK 188x119x56mm Black Diecast Box with Flanged Lid

The 1590DFLBK pairs the 188 x 119 x 56 mm (7.39 x 4.7 x 2.2 in) 1590D diecast aluminum box with a flanged lid and a textured black finish. The wall-mounting flange is built into the lid, so the enclosure can be fastened to a wall, panel or machine frame without separate brackets.

Box and lid are diecast aluminum alloy coated with tough polyester powder paint, which holds up even after machining, and black screws are included to match. The lid-to-box lap joint provides protection against dust and splashing water, with the standard version designed to meet IP54.

The 1590DFLBK drawing calls out 6-32 UNC-2B tapped holes for the six included cover screws; recommended torque is 50-55 cN.m. For IP65, apply the 1590EGASKET silicone gasket to the lid and torque to 25-30 cN.m, using black stainless steel O-ring screws 1590WMS100BK. The water-tight equivalent is 1590WDFLBK.
