Hammond 1590DFL 188x119x56mm Natural Diecast Box, Flanged Lid

The 1590DFL is the 1590D diecast aluminum enclosure with a flanged lid, where the wall-mounting flange is integrated into the lid itself. At a nominal 188 x 119 x 56 mm (7.39 x 4.7 x 2.2 in), it gives installers and equipment designers a compact metal box that fastens to a wall or panel through the lid.

The unpainted diecast aluminum alloy box and lid are vibra finished for a smooth surface without sharp edges. Lap joint construction where lid and box meet guards against dust and splashing water, and the standard 1590DFL is designed to meet IP54. Side walls have a low draft angle of 2° or less for easy PC board mounting.

The drawing gives an overall length of 217.00 mm [8.543 in] including the lid flange, a box width of 119.50 mm and a height of 56.00 mm. Inside, there is 178.86 mm of length, 111.61 mm of width and 51.00 mm of height, and the maximum PC board is 177.86 x 109.61 mm. Shipping weight is 1.19 lb (0.54 kg).

Included are the box, lid and six cover screws, which thread into factory-tapped 6-32 UNC holes at 50-55 cN.m. Add the 1590EGASKET kit and 1590WMS100 stainless steel O-ring screws, torqued to 25-30 cN.m, for an IP65 design; the ready-gasketed version is 1590WDFL. The 1590DFL is RoHS and REACH compliant, shrink wrapped, and can be factory modified, with STEP and IGES models available.
