The 1590DDFBK is a textured black, slim diecast aluminum enclosure, nominal 188 x 120 x 37 mm (7.4 x 4.72 x 1.46 in), with a box-mounted flange for fastening to walls, panels and equipment. Per the drawing the bottom flange is welded, making the overall length 216.64 mm (8.529 in) and the overall height 38.50 mm (1.516 in).
The black finish is a tough polyester powder paint that lasts even after machining, with black screws included. Box and lid are diecast aluminum alloy joined by a lap joint that protects against dust and splashing water, and the standard version is designed to meet IP54.

Torque the lid screws to 50-55 cN.m (71-78 ozf.in), or 25-30 cN.m (36-43 ozf.in) with a gasket. For IP65, the listed kit is 1590EGASKET, and the water-tight version is 1590WDDFBK. The 1590DDFBK ships shrink wrapped at 1.21 lbs (0.55 kg) and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
