The 1590DBK is the textured black version of the 188 x 119 x 56 mm (7.39 x 4.7 x 2.2 in) 1590D diecast aluminum enclosure. It suits equipment builders who want a larger painted metal housing ready for front-panel work, without mounting flanges on the box or lid.
Its finish is a tough polyester powder paint that holds up even after machining, and black screws are included to match. The diecast aluminum alloy box and lid meet at a lap joint that protects against dust and splashing water; the standard version is designed to meet IP54.

For IP65, the listed gasket kit is 1590EGASKET and the water-tight version is 1590WDBK. Shipping weight is 1.1 lbs (0.50 kg); the 1590DBK is RoHS and REACH compliant.
