The 1590CFBK takes the black 1590CBK diecast aluminum enclosure and adds a flanged bottom plate, so a painted 119 x 94 x 56 mm (4.7 x 3.7 x 2.22 in) box can be screwed straight onto a wall, panel or equipment frame. Per the drawing, the bottom flange is welded and extends the overall length to 148.24 mm (5.836 in).
The textured black coating is a tough polyester powder paint that keeps a lasting finish even after machining, and black screws are included. Box and lid are diecast aluminum alloy joined by a lap joint that protects against dust and splashing water, with the standard version designed to meet IP54.

Recommended lid screw torque is 50-55 cN.m (71-78 ozf.in), or 25-30 cN.m (36-43 ozf.in) with a gasket. For IP65, add the listed 1590BBGASKET kit or choose the water-tight 1590WCFBK. The 1590CFBK ships shrink wrapped at 0.74 lbs (0.34 kg) and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
