Hammond 1589T6F1BKRF 1U 20A PDU, 6 Front 5-20R Outlets

The 1589T6F1BKRF is a 1U horizontal rackmount power distribution unit rated 20A, 125VAC, built to distribute single-phase branch power inside standard 19-inch racks and cabinets. It carries six heavy-duty NEMA 5-20R receptacles positioned on the front of the unit, so IT, networking, AV, telecom, test and industrial equipment can be plugged in at the same face technicians work from. The 5-20R receptacles accept both NEMA 5-15P and 5-20P equipment plugs.

This is the illuminated power-indicator version of the model: instead of an on/off switch, it uses a pilot light to show that power is present, and a resettable circuit breaker helps protect against accidental electrical overload. The companion 1589H6F1BKRF offers the same layout with an on/off switch. There is no surge protection, no amp metering and no shielded cord on this configuration, and the outlets are not rotated or hospital grade.

Construction is black painted steel front and back, with the series specified in a textured RAL9005 black powder coat finish that meets applicable GREENGUARD indoor air quality and RoHS requirements. Overall dimensions are 1.72 in (44 mm) high by 19.00 in (483 mm) wide by 2.66 in (68 mm) deep, and shipping weight is 4 lbs (1.81 kg). The attached 12/3 SJT cord terminates in a NEMA 5-20P straight-blade plug.
