Hammond 1589T6D1BKRF 1U 20A PDU, Six 5-20R Outlets, Locking Plug

The 1589T6D1BKRF is a 1U horizontal rackmount power distribution unit for 19-inch racks and cabinets, built to deliver 20A single-phase power to IT, networking, AV, telecom, test and industrial equipment. It carries six heavy-duty NEMA 5-20R receptacles rated 20A, 125VAC that accept both NEMA 5-15P and 5-20P equipment plugs, so a mix of 15A and 20A devices can be supported from one strip.

Power is supplied through a 15 ft, 12/3 SJT heavy-duty cord terminated in a NEMA L5-20P locking plug, which secures the connection to a matching twist-lock branch-circuit receptacle. This version is the illuminated power indicator model (no on/off switch) and includes a resettable circuit breaker to help protect against accidental electrical overload. It is not metered, not surge protected and does not use a shielded cord.

Construction is painted steel front and back with a textured RAL9005 black powder coat finish that meets applicable GREENGUARD indoor air quality and RoHS requirements. Overall dimensions are 1.72 in (44 mm) high by 19.00 in (483 mm) wide by 2.66 in (68 mm) deep, with a 17.50 in mounting-flange span, and the unit ships at 5.13 lbs (2.33 kg).

The 1589T6D1BKRF is rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 20 Amps and is UL Recognized to UL 1363 and CSA Certified to C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99) under UL File E166039; the series is also noted as UL/cUL recognized to CSA C22.2 No. 308-14. Operating temperature range is -20°C to +60°C. The unit is made in Canada, is USMCA compliant, REACH and RoHS compliant, and TAA compliant for applicable U.S. federal procurement.
