Hammond 1589T6D1BKRR 1U 20A Rack PDU, 6 Rear 5-20R Outlets, Locking Plug

The 1589T6D1BKRR is a 1U, 19-inch rackmount power distribution unit that delivers 20A single-phase power to equipment mounted in server cabinets, network racks and AV or test enclosures. All six NEMA 5-20R receptacles face the rear of the unit, so power connections sit alongside the equipment cordage at the back of the rack and keep the front of the enclosure clear. The heavy-duty 5-20R receptacles accept both NEMA 5-15P and 5-20P equipment plugs.

Construction is black painted steel front and back, finished in a textured RAL9005 black powder coat that meets applicable GREENGUARD indoor air quality and RoHS requirements. The horizontal chassis measures 19.00 in (483 mm) wide, 1.72 in (44 mm) high and 2.66 in (68 mm) deep and mounts directly into a standard 19-inch rack. Shipping weight is 5.18 lbs (2.35 kg).

This model is the illuminated power indicator version (no on/off switch) and includes a resettable circuit breaker to help protect against accidental electrical overload. It is supplied with a 15 ft 12/3 SJT power cord terminated in a NEMA L5-20P locking plug for secure connection to a 20A branch circuit. The cord is unshielded, and this part number is not metered and not surge protected.
