The 1589T6C1BKRRAM is a 1U, 19-inch rackmount power distribution unit that delivers 20A single-phase power to equipment mounted in racks and cabinets. It carries six NEMA 5-20R receptacles, all facing the rear of the rack (0 front / 6 rear), making it suited to installations where equipment power cords terminate behind the rack. A red LED digital ammeter on the assembly lets technicians read the connected current load at a glance, and a power indicator light shows operating status (this model has no on/off switch).

Power comes in through a 6 ft, 12/3 SJT heavy-duty cord fitted with a NEMA L5-20P locking plug for a secure connection to a 20A branch circuit. A resettable circuit breaker is built into the unit to help protect against accidental electrical overload. The receptacles are heavy-duty NEMA 5-20R type rated 20A, 125VAC and accept both NEMA 5-15P and 5-20P equipment plugs, and the outlets are rotated for easier cord dressing.
