Hammond 1589T60G1 60 in 10-Outlet Vertical PDU, 20A 5-20P Cord

The 1589T60G1 is a 60 in (1524 mm) vertical basic PDU from the 1589H-T Series, built for IT, AV and facilities teams that need straightforward 120V power distribution inside a rack or cabinet. It carries ten 20A/125V NEMA 5-20R receptacles, a power indicator (pilot light) version of the series head end, and a resettable 20A circuit breaker. A 15 ft, 12/3 SJT heavy-duty cord with an integral molded NEMA 5-20P straight-blade plug is included.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic ends, supplied in a natural finish. The series is available in black finish upon request. Receptacles are 1 in square and equally spaced over the length of the strip, with all ten outlets on the front face and none at the rear. Overall assembly length shown on the drawing is 1535.99 mm (60.472 in), and shipping weight is 6 lbs (2.72 kg).

Each strip ships with a mounting bracket kit and hardware; additional kits are available as P/N 1585CLIP. Mount 1589T60G1 vertically in server cabinets, wall mount cabinets or open frame racks, or horizontally above a work bench. Per the series notes, outlet strips cannot be used between the front and rear panel rails of rack cabinets because the strip and equipment plugs will interfere with mounted equipment and accessories; allow sufficient depth behind the rear panel rails for vertical mounting to the struts.

The part is rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 20 Amps and operates from -20 degrees C to +60 degrees C. It is UL/cUL Listed to UL1363 and CSA C22.2 No. 308-14 (drawing cites CSA C22.2 No. 21-95, 42-99; UL file E166039), TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant, and manufactured in North America. No surge protection or metering is included.
