Hammond 1589H6D1BKRR 20A 6-Outlet Rear-Facing 1U Rack PDU

The 1589H6D1BKRR is a heavy-duty 1U horizontal rackmount power distribution unit that delivers 20A single-phase power inside standard 19-inch racks and cabinets. All six NEMA 5-20R receptacles face the rear of the unit, so power connections sit alongside the cable terminations on rear-facing IT, networking, AV, telecom, test and industrial equipment. The receptacles accept both NEMA 5-15P and 5-20P equipment plugs.

Construction is black painted steel front and back, finished in a textured RAL9005 black powder coat that meets applicable GREENGUARD indoor air quality and RoHS requirements. The chassis measures 1.72 in (44 mm) high, 19.00 in (483 mm) wide and 2.66 in (68 mm) deep, and the assembly ships at 5.25 lbs (2.38 kg). An on/off rocker switch and a resettable circuit breaker are built into the front face, the breaker helping to protect against accidental electrical overload.

Facility power is connected through the supplied 15 ft heavy-duty 12/3 SJT cord terminated in a NEMA L5-20P locking plug, which secures the connection to a matching 20A twist-lock branch receptacle. This model is rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 20 Amps (rated voltage also listed as 120VAC) and operates from -20°C to +60°C. It is not metered, not surge protected and does not use a shielded cord.
