Hammond 1589H6F1BKRFAM 1U Metered 20A PDU, 6 Front 5-20R Outlets

The 1589H6F1BKRFAM is a 1U horizontal rackmount power distribution unit for 19-inch racks and cabinets, built for IT, networking, AV, telecom, test and industrial equipment that needs 20A single-phase power. Six NEMA 5-20R receptacles face the front of the rack, so power connections sit where front-accessible equipment cords land, and the heavy-duty receptacles accept both NEMA 5-15P and 5-20P equipment plugs.

This model is the metered version of the 1589H6F1BKRF: it adds a red LED digital ammeter with 0.37 in. high digits and ±0.1A accuracy for at-a-glance monitoring of the connected current load. An on/off rocker switch and a resettable circuit breaker are built into the front panel, helping guard against accidental electrical overload. A 6 ft, 12/3 SJT power cord with a straight-blade NEMA 5-20P plug is included; the cord is unshielded and the unit does not include surge protection.

Construction is black painted steel front and back with a textured RAL9005 black powder coat finish that meets applicable GREENGUARD indoor air quality and RoHS requirements. Overall dimensions are 1.72 in (44 mm) high by 19.00 in (483 mm) wide by 2.66 in (68 mm) deep, with rack mounting holes on 17.500 in (444.50 mm) centres for direct installation in a standard 19-inch rack.
