Hammond 1589H6C1BKRRAM 1U Metered 20A PDU, 6 Rear 5-20R Outlets

The 1589H6C1BKRRAM is a 1U, 19-inch rackmount power distribution unit that delivers 20A single-phase power to equipment mounted in network, server, AV and industrial racks. It carries six rear-facing NEMA 5-20R outlets and a factory-fitted 6 ft locking power cord with a NEMA L5-20P plug, making it suited to installations where the branch circuit connection must not be pulled loose and where equipment cords terminate at the back of the rack.

This model is the metered version of the 1589H6C1BKRR. A red LED digital ammeter, 0.37 in. high with an accuracy of ±0.1A, shows connected current load so technicians can verify how much of the 20A circuit is in use before adding equipment. An on/off rocker switch controls the strip and a resettable circuit breaker helps protect against accidental electrical overload.

Construction is painted steel, front and back, in a textured RAL9005 black powder coat finish that meets applicable GREENGUARD indoor air quality and RoHS requirements. Overall dimensions are 1.72 in (44 mm) high by 19.00 in (483 mm) wide by 2.66 in (68 mm) deep, with 17.500 in (444.50 mm) mounting hole centres for direct installation in standard 19-inch racks and cabinets. Shipping weight is 4 lbs (1.81 kg).
