The Hammond 1589H6C1BKRR is a 1U, 19-inch rackmount power distribution unit that delivers single-phase 20A, 125VAC power to rack-mounted equipment. All six NEMA 5-20R receptacles face the rear of the unit, so power connections sit alongside the cabling of rear-connected servers, switches, amplifiers and test gear. It is aimed at IT and network integrators, AV and broadcast installers, telecom technicians, lab and industrial control teams, and OEM builders who need higher-current outlets inside a standard 19-inch rack.

Construction is painted steel front and back in black, with a textured RAL9005 black powder coat finish that meets applicable GREENGUARD indoor air quality and RoHS requirements.
