Hammond 1588H12A1 77-Inch 12-Outlet Vertical PDU, 15A Switched

The 1588H12A1 is a 77 in (1956 mm) vertical basic PDU with 12 NEMA 5-15R outlets, rated 15 amps at 125VAC single-phase. It is built for IT, AV and facilities teams that need full-height power distribution alongside rack-mounted equipment, and the same strip can be laid horizontally on a workbench or test bench when required.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic end caps, keeping the strip rugged but lightweight. The 12 receptacles are 1 in square and equally spaced over the length of the strip, and all 12 outlets face the front (none on the rear). Power control is handled by an on/off rocker switch with a resettable circuit breaker. Colour is Natural; this part is not surge protected, not metered, not hospital grade and does not use rotated outlets.

Power input is a factory-fitted 6 ft heavy-duty 14/3 SJT cord with integral moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug, suited to extreme temperature ranges. The drawing gives an overall extrusion length of 1960.88 mm (77.200 in) and an assembly side-view length of 1967.79 mm (77.472 in); shipping weight is 5 lbs (2.27 kg).

Each 1588H12A1 outlet strip ships with a mounting bracket kit and hardware; additional hardware kits are available as P/N 1585CLIP. The strip is UL/cUL Listed to UL1363 with CSA certification under C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99), and the series is listed to UL1363, CSA C22.2 No. 308-14 and CSA C22.2 No. 0.4-04 under UL file E166039. It is RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant, TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, and manufactured in North America (country of origin: CA).
