Hammond 1587T11A1 70-Inch Vertical PDU, 11 Outlets, 15A Pilot Light

The 1587T11A1 is a 70-inch vertical basic PDU (power outlet strip) with eleven NEMA 5-15R receptacles, built for IT, AV and electrical installers who need to distribute 120V branch power along the full height of a rack, cabinet or equipment bay. All eleven outlets face the front of the strip, and the unit is rated 125VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic end caps, keeping the strip rugged but lightweight. The receptacles are 1" square and equally spaced over the length of the strip, and the finish is natural. A 6 ft heavy-duty 14/3 SJT cord with integral moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug is included, chosen for extreme temperature ranges. This version has no rocker switch: it uses a power indicator (pilot) light plus a resettable 15 amp circuit breaker, so you can confirm power and reset an overload without a master on/off.

Overall assembly length is 70.468 in (1789.89 mm), with the extrusion measuring 70.200 in (1783.08 mm) and a nominal strip length of 70.00 in. Shipping weight is 4 lbs (1.81 kg). A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included for vertical mounting; additional hardware kits are available as P/N 1585CLIP. The strip can also be used horizontally on a workbench.

1587T11A1 is UL Listed to UL1363 and CSA Certified to C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99) under UL file E166039, is cULus and TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, and is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant. It is manufactured in North America. This model is not surge protected, not metered and not hospital grade.
