Hammond 1587T10B1 70-Inch 10-Outlet Vertical PDU, 15A 125VAC

The 1587T10B1 is a 70 in (1778 mm) vertical basic PDU with ten NEMA 5-15R outlets, rated 15 amps at 125VAC, 60 Hz single-phase. It is built for IT, AV and telecom integrators who need full-height power distribution inside a rack or cabinet, and it can also be laid horizontally on a workbench or shop table.

The case is an anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic end caps, giving a low-profile slim design in a rugged, lightweight package. All ten receptacles face the front (no rear outlets), each 1 in square and equally spaced along the length of the strip. This version uses a power indicator light rather than an on-off rocker switch, and includes a resettable 15 amp circuit breaker. The natural (anodized aluminum) finish is standard on this part.

Power is supplied by a 15 ft heavy duty 14/3 SJT cord suited to extreme temperature ranges, terminated in an integral moulded NEMA 5-15P straight blade plug. The assembly measures 1789.99 mm (70.472 in) overall along the side view, with a 41.05 mm (1.616 in) profile and 29.18 mm (1.149 in) depth at the end view. Shipping weight is 5.1 lbs (2.31 kg).

A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included with the 1587T10B1 for vertical installation; additional hardware kits are available under P/N 1585CLIP. The strip is cULus listed (UL file E166039) to UL1363 and CSA Certified to C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99), and is TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA. It is RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant, and manufactured in North America. This unit has no surge protection and is not metered or hospital grade.
