The 1587T11B1 is a 70 inch vertical basic PDU (outlet strip) with 11 NEMA 5-15R receptacles, rated 15 amps at 125 VAC, 60 Hz. It is intended for IT, AV, telecom and industrial users who need to distribute single-phase 120 V power the full height of a rack, cabinet or relay rack frame, and it can also be laid horizontally on a workbench.
Construction is a low-profile, rugged lightweight anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic ends, finished in natural. All 11 outlets face the front of the strip (none on the rear), are 1 inch square and are equally spaced over the length of the strip, so evenly distributed cords and transformers are easy to accommodate. This version carries a power indicator light rather than a rocker switch, plus a resettable circuit breaker for overcurrent protection.
Power is supplied by an integral 15 foot, heavy duty 14/3 SJT cord with a moulded NEMA 5-15P straight blade plug, suitable for extreme temperature ranges. Overall assembly length is 70.468 in (1789.89 mm) with a nominal strip length of 70.00 in (1778 mm), and shipping weight is 4 lbs (1.81 kg).
