Hammond 1587H11C1 70-Inch 11-Outlet Vertical PDU, L5-15P Plug

The 1587H11C1 is a vertical basic power distribution unit from the 1585-6-7-8 Series, built for IT, AV and industrial users who need to spread eleven 15A outlets down the full height of a rack frame, cabinet upright or workbench. It carries 11 front-facing NEMA 5-15R receptacles, an on/off rocker switch, a resettable circuit breaker and a 6 ft NEMA L5-15P locking power cord, so the feed cannot be pulled loose accidentally.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic ends, keeping the strip rugged but lightweight. The finish is natural, and the receptacles are 1 in square and equally spaced over the length of the strip. Power comes in through a heavy duty 14 gauge 14/3 SJT cord with an integral moulded plug, rated for extreme temperature ranges.

The strip measures 70.00 in (1778 mm) nominal, with a drawing strip length of 1783.08 mm [70.200 in] and an overall assembly length of 1789.99 mm [70.472 in]. Shipping weight is 5 lbs (2.27 kg). All 11 outlets are on the front face; there are no rear outlets, no surge protection, no metering and the unit is not hospital grade.

1587H11C1 ships with a mounting bracket kit and hardware for vertical installation, and additional hardware kits are available as P/N 1585CLIP. It can also simply be laid horizontally on a bench. The unit is rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 Amps, is UL/cUL Listed to UL1363 (UL File # E166039) and CSA Certified to C22.2, is RoHS and REACH compliant, TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, and is manufactured in North America.
