Hammond 1587H10A1 70 in 10-Outlet Vertical Power Strip, 15A

The 1587H10A1 is a 70-inch vertical basic PDU from the 1585-6-7-8 Series, built to distribute 15A, 120/125VAC single-phase power inside racks and cabinets. Ten front-facing NEMA 5-15R outlets are equally spaced along the strip, making it a practical choice for IT, AV and OEM installations where devices are mounted throughout the full height of an enclosure and each needs its own receptacle.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion in a Natural finish with ABS plastic ends, so the unit stays rugged while remaining lightweight. The extrusion measures 1789.99 mm [70.472 in] overall on the assembly side view, with a 1783.08 mm [70.200 in] body length and a slim 41.05 mm [1.616 in] profile width. Shipping weight is 4 lbs (1.81 kg). Receptacles are 1 in square. Because of the slim profile, the strip can also be used horizontally on a workbench.

Power is supplied by an integral 6 ft heavy-duty 14/3 SJT cord suited to extreme temperature ranges, terminated in a moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug. Control and protection are handled by an on/off rocker switch and a resettable 15 Amp circuit breaker. This version of the 1587H10A1 is not surge protected and is not metered or hospital grade.
