Hammond 1586T12C1 60-Inch Vertical PDU, 12 Outlets, L5-15P Plug

The 1586T12C1 is a 60" vertical basic PDU (outlet strip) with 12 NEMA 5-15R receptacles, rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps. It is intended for IT, AV and OEM users who need to distribute single-phase 120V power up the full height of a rack or cabinet, feeding each piece of equipment from its own outlet. All 12 outlets face the front of the strip; there are no rear outlets.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic end caps, finished in Natural. The design is rugged yet lightweight, and the strip can also be laid horizontally for use on a workbench. Receptacles are 1" square and equally spaced over the length of the strip.

Power comes in through an integral 6 ft heavy-duty 14/3 SJT cord with a moulded NEMA L5-15P locking plug, suited to extreme temperature ranges and to installations where the cord must not be pulled free of the receptacle. This version has no on/off switch: it uses a power indicator pilot light plus a resettable 15 amp circuit breaker. Surge protection is not included on 1586T12C1, and the unit is not metered or hospital grade.

Overall assembly length is 1535.89 mm [60.468 in], with the extrusion measuring 1529.08 mm [60.200 in]. Shipping weight is 4.5 lbs (2.04 kg). A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included; additional hardware kits are available as P/N 1585CLIP.

The 1586T12C1 is UL Listed to UL1363 and CSA Certified to C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99) under UL file E166039, is RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant, TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, and is made in Canada.
