Hammond 1585T10A1 48-Inch 10-Outlet Vertical PDU, 15A 125VAC

The 1585T10A1 is a 48-inch vertical basic PDU (power outlet strip) with ten NEMA 5-15R receptacles, rated 125VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps. It is built for IT, AV and telecom integrators who need straightforward, unmetered power distribution down the side of a rack or cabinet, and for facilities and OEM teams powering test benches and equipment racks. This version has no on/off switch; instead it uses a power indicator (pilot) light plus a resettable 15 amp circuit breaker.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion in a Natural finish with ABS plastic end caps, making the strip rugged but lightweight. The receptacles are 1 inch square and equally spaced over the length of the strip, all ten facing the front (no rear outlets, no rotated outlets). Power is supplied by an integral moulded NEMA 5-15P plug on a heavy duty 14/3 SJT cord, 6 ft long and suited to extreme temperature ranges.

Overall length is 1231.09 mm (48.468 in) as shown on the drawing, with the extrusion body measuring 1224.28 mm (48.200 in). Shipping weight is 4 lbs (1.81 kg). A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included for vertical installation in a rack or cabinet; additional hardware kits are available as P/N 1585CLIP. Because of the slim profile, the 1585T10A1 can also be used horizontally on a workbench.

The strip is UL Listed to UL1363 and CSA Certified to C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99), covered under UL file E166039, and is listed cULus. It is TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, USMCA compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant, and manufactured in North America. This model does not include surge protection or metering.
