Hammond 1585H15D1 15-Outlet 48 in Vertical PDU, L5-15P Locking Plug

The 1585H15D1 is a vertical basic PDU (power distribution outlet strip) built for rack, cabinet and equipment-room power distribution where a long run of 120V receptacles is needed from a single circuit. It carries 15 NEMA 5-15R outlets, all on the front face, and is rated 125VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps. Power comes in through an integral 15 ft cord with a moulded NEMA L5-15P twist-locking plug, so the strip stays connected in high-vibration or frequently accessed installations.

Construction is a low-profile anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic end caps, finished in Natural. The slim aluminum body keeps weight down (5 lbs / 2.27 kg shipping weight) and lets the strip be mounted vertically in a rack frame or used horizontally on a workbench. Receptacles are 1" square and are equally spaced over the length of the strip. An on/off rocker switch and a resettable circuit breaker are fitted at the cord end for local control and overload protection.

Overall assembly length is 1231.19 mm [48.472 in], based on a nominal 48.00 in strip length. A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included with the strip; additional hardware kits are available under P/N 1585CLIP.

1585H15D1 is cULus Listed under UL File # E166039 to UL Standard UL1363 and is CSA Certified to C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99). It is TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, USMCA compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant, and is manufactured in North America (Country of Origin: CA). This model does not include surge protection, metering, rotated outlets or hospital-grade receptacles.
