Hammond 1585H11A1 11-Outlet 15A Vertical PDU, Rocker Switch

The 1585H11A1 is a vertical basic power distribution unit with eleven NEMA 5-15R outlets, rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps. It is intended for IT, AV and electronics installations where a slim single-phase strip is needed to feed rack-mounted or bench equipment from one 15 A branch circuit. All eleven receptacles face the front of the strip; there are no rear outlets.

Construction is a low-profile slim design using a rugged, lightweight anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic end caps, finished in Natural. The 1 in. square receptacles are equally spaced over the length of the strip, so cord ends and wall-wart style plugs can be spread out along the run. An on/off rocker switch and a resettable circuit breaker are built into the unit.

The assembly measures 1231.09 mm [48.468 in] overall, with a 1224.28 mm [48.200 in] case length, and shipping weight is 4 lbs (1.81 kg). Power is supplied by an integral 6 ft heavy-duty 14/3 SJT cord with a moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug; the cord type is selected for extreme temperature ranges. The cord is unshielded and this model does not include surge protection or metering.

A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included for vertical installation, and additional kits are available under P/N 1585CLIP. Because of its slim profile, the strip can also be laid horizontally on a workbench. The 1585H11A1 is CSA Certified to standards C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99) and UL Listed to UL1363 under UL file E166039, is TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, and is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant.
