Hammond 15854H7B1 42-Inch 7-Outlet Vertical Power Strip, 15 ft Cord

The 15854H7B1 is a 42 in. vertical basic PDU (outlet strip) with seven NEMA 5-15R receptacles, rated 15 amps at 125 VAC, 60 Hz. It is intended for IT, AV and electrical professionals who need to distribute single-phase 120V power down the side of a rack or cabinet, and it can also be laid horizontally on a workbench.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic ends, finished in Natural. The design is rugged but lightweight, and the seven 1 in. square receptacles are equally spaced along the length of the strip, with 5.000 in. (127.00 mm) typical spacing. All seven outlets face the front; there are no rear-facing or rotated outlets.

Power is supplied by an integral 15 ft cord with a moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug. The cord is heavy duty 14 gauge, 14/3 SJT type for extreme temperature ranges. The strip includes an on/off rocker switch and a resettable circuit breaker for local control and protection of connected loads. This model is not surge protected, not metered, not hospital grade and does not use a shielded cord.

The strip body measures 42.200 in. (1071.88 mm) with an overall assembly length of 42.472 in. (1078.79 mm), and shipping weight is 4.5 lbs (2.04 kg). A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included with 15854H7B1; additional hardware kits are available as P/N 1585CLIP. The unit is UL Listed to UL1363 (UL file E166039) and CSA Certified to C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99), is RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant, TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, and is manufactured in North America.
