Hammond 15853H12A1 36-Inch 12-Outlet Vertical Power Strip, 15A

The 15853H12A1 is a 36" long vertical basic PDU with 12 outlets, rated 15 amps at 120 volts single-phase. It is intended for IT, AV and electrical professionals who need simple, unswitched-per-outlet power distribution down the side of a rack or cabinet, and it can also be laid flat and used horizontally on a workbench.

Construction is a low-profile slim aluminum extrusion, keeping the strip rugged but lightweight so it does not consume usable rack mounting space. This version is supplied in a natural finish. Receptacles are 1" square and equally spaced over the length of the strip, so equipment cords and wall-wart style adapters can be spread out along the run rather than crowded at one end.

Power is supplied through a heavy duty 14 gauge cord - 14/3 SJT type for extreme temperature ranges - with an integral moulded NEMA 5-15P straight blade plug. The cord on 15853H12A1 is 6 ft long. The "H" in the part number denotes the on-off rocker switch version; the equivalent pilot light version is 15853T12A1. This part is not surge protected.
