Hammond 15852T8A1 24-Inch 8-Outlet Vertical PDU, 15A Pilot Light

The 15852T8A1 is a 24 in. (610 mm) vertical basic PDU with eight NEMA 5-15R outlets, rated 15 amps at 125VAC, single-phase. It is built for IT, AV and telecom racks and cabinets where a compact, non-switched power strip is needed to feed switches, patch panels, shelves and small appliances. Instead of a rocker switch, this version uses a power indicator (pilot) light, along with a resettable circuit breaker.

Construction is a low-profile, slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic end caps, finished in Natural. The lightweight extruded case keeps the strip slim enough to mount vertically along a rack upright, and the same unit can also be used horizontally on a workbench. All eight receptacles are on the front face (none on the rear), are 1 in. square and are equally spaced over the length of the strip.

Power is supplied by an integral 6 ft heavy-duty 14/3 SJT cord with a moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug, suited to extreme temperature ranges. The cord is unshielded, and this model is not surge protected, not metered and not hospital grade.

A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included with 15852T8A1; additional hardware kits are available as P/N 1585CLIP. The unit is UL Listed to UL1363 (UL File E166039) and CSA Certified to C22.2 No. 21-95 and No. 42-99, cULus marked, TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant, and manufactured in North America.
