Hammond 15852H8B1 24-Inch 8-Outlet 15A Vertical Power Strip

The 15852H8B1 is a 24 in (610 mm) vertical basic PDU with eight NEMA 5-15R outlets, rated 15 amps at 125VAC, 60 Hz. It is intended for IT, AV and electrical installers who need straightforward rack or cabinet power distribution, and its low-profile slim design also lets it be used horizontally on a workbench.

Construction is a rugged, lightweight anodized aluminum extrusion case with ABS plastic ends, supplied in a natural finish. Receptacles are 1 in square and are equally spaced along the length of the strip; all eight outlets face the front, with none at the rear, and the outlets are not rotated. Power control is by an on/off rocker switch, and a resettable circuit breaker is built in. This model is not surge protected, not metered and not hospital grade.

A heavy duty 14/3 SJT cord is included, 15 feet long with an integral moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug, suited to extreme temperature ranges. The cord is unshielded. Overall assembly dimensions on the drawing are 608.79 mm (23.968 in) long with a 29.18 mm (1.149 in) profile depth at the end view, and shipping weight is 3 lbs (1.36 kg).

Each outlet strip includes a mounting bracket kit with hardware; additional hardware kits are available under P/N 1585CLIP. The 15852H8B1 is UL Listed to UL1363 and CSA Certified to C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99) under UL file E166039, carries cULus and TAA-compliant standards markings for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, and is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant. It is manufactured in North America, with Canada as the country of origin.
