Hammond 15852T8B1 24" 8-Outlet Vertical PDU, 15A Pilot Light

The 15852T8B1 is a 24-inch vertical basic PDU (outlet strip) with eight NEMA 5-15R receptacles, rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps. All eight outlets face the front, and the unit uses a power indicator (pilot) light rather than an on-off rocker switch, plus a resettable circuit breaker for overcurrent protection. It suits IT and AV integrators, electricians, OEM engineers and facilities teams distributing 120 V single-phase power inside racks, cabinets and equipment enclosures.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic end caps, finished in Natural. The design is rugged yet lightweight, and the strip can also be laid horizontally for bench-top use. Receptacles are 1 inch square and equally spaced over the length of the strip.

The nominal strip length is 24.00 in (610 mm); the drawing shows an overall assembly length of 608.79 mm [23.968 in]. Shipping weight is 3.5 lbs (1.59 kg). Power is supplied by an integral 15 ft heavy-duty 14 gauge, 14/3 SJT cord with a moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug, suited to extreme temperature ranges. This configuration is not surge protected and is not hospital grade, metered, shielded-cord or rotated-outlet.
