Hammond 15852T8D1 24-Inch 8-Outlet Vertical PDU, 15A Locking Plug

The 15852T8D1 is a 24" vertical basic power distribution unit with eight NEMA 5-15R outlets, rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps. It is intended for IT, AV and electrical integrators who need straightforward rack power distribution, as well as OEM engineers and facilities staff outfitting test benches and equipment cabinets. All eight receptacles face the front; there are no rear outlets, no metering and no surge protection module on this model.

Construction is a low-profile slim design using a rugged, lightweight anodized aluminum extrusion case with ABS plastic ends, finished in Natural. Receptacles are 1" square and equally spaced over the length of the strip. This version carries a power indicator light rather than a rocker switch, plus a resettable 15 amp circuit breaker for overcurrent protection.

Power is supplied by a factory-fitted 15 ft heavy-duty 14/3 SJT cord with an integral moulded NEMA L5-15P locking plug, suited to extreme temperature ranges and to connections that must not be pulled loose. The nominal strip length is 24.00", with overall drawing dimensions of 606.55 mm [23.880 in]. Shipping weight is 4 lbs (1.81 kg).

A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included for vertical mounting; additional hardware kits are available as P/N 1585CLIP. The 15852T8D1 can also be used horizontally on a workbench. Approvals include UL Listed Standard UL1363 and CSA Certified Standards C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99) under UL file E166039. The unit is cULus, TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant, and manufactured in North America.
