Hammond 1583T8C1BK 1U 8-Outlet 15A Rear-Facing Power Strip

The 1583T8C1BK is a 1U horizontal 19-inch rack mount basic PDU (outlet strip) with eight NEMA 5-15R receptacles, all facing the rear of the unit for power distribution behind rack-mounted equipment. Rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 Amps (rated voltage listed as 120 VAC), it suits IT, AV, broadcast and OEM installations where a simple, non-metered, non-surge power strip is needed in a standard 19-inch rack.

Construction is painted steel, front and back, finished in black. The 1583 Series is finished in RAL9005 black or ASA61 gray powder coat and complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. This "T" version uses a red power indicator light rather than an illuminated on/off rocker switch, and a resettable 15 Amp, 125 VAC circuit breaker is included to prevent accidental overload.
