Hammond 1583T6A1BKX 1U 6-Outlet 15A Rack PDU with Pilot Light

The 1583T6A1BKX is a basic 1U horizontal rack mount PDU (outlet strip) for 19-inch racks and cabinets, giving IT, AV and industrial equipment a single switched-free, breaker-protected power feed. It carries six NEMA 5-15R outlets, all facing the rear of the unit, and is rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 Amps (rated voltage listed as 120 VAC). Instead of a rocker switch, this version uses a red power indicator (pilot light) on the front so technicians can confirm the strip is live at a glance.

Construction is black painted steel front and back, finished in a powder coat that complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. Overall dimensions are 1.72 in (43.64 mm) high by 19.00 in (482.60 mm) wide by 2.66 in (67.58 mm) deep, so the unit occupies a single rack unit of vertical space. Shipping weight is 4 lbs (1.81 kg).

Power comes from an integral 6 ft heavy-duty 14/3 SJT cord with a moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug, suitable for extreme temperature ranges.
