The 1583H8D1BK is a 1U horizontal rack mount basic PDU (outlet strip) for 19-inch racks and cabinets, giving IT, AV, broadcast and OEM installers eight NEMA 5-15R outlets on the rear of the unit for tidy, out-of-the-way power distribution behind mounted equipment. It is rated 15 A at 125 VAC, 60 Hz (rated voltage listed as 120 VAC on the part data), and carries an illuminated on/off rocker switch plus a resettable circuit breaker on the front panel.
Construction is painted steel, front and back, finished in black. The series finishes use RAL9005 black or ASA61 gray powder coat and comply with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality.
