Hammond 155C 60H 8mA High-Inductance Choke, 400V DC

Part 155C is a channel-mounted D.C. reactor with 60H of inductance and a 8 ma. D.C. current rating. It belongs to the 153-159 Series of low to medium current filter chokes, which the manufacturer positions for high voltage power supply filtering. The 155C delivers 60H at a very light 8 ma. load, with 2750 ohms of resistance and a 400 V DC maximum, for low-current high voltage filtering where very high inductance is needed.

Winding resistance is 2750 ohms (+/- 15%) and the maximum operating voltage is 400 V DC. Inductance is measured at the rated D.C. current; expect less inductance at slightly higher currents and more at lower currents, so size the choke to your actual load current.

The choke is built on an open bracket channel frame and vacuum impregnated with polyurethane varnish for quiet, long-life operation. Each unit is 100% Hipot tested at 1,500 VAC and supplied with leads at least 5" long.
