Rated 6mH at 2A, the 155B is an open-bracket filter choke (D.C. reactor) in the 153-159 Series for low to medium current circuits. OEM designers, repair technicians and builders of high voltage power supplies use chokes of this type for supply filtering. The 155B is an amp-level choke on the C4H frame: 6mH at 2 A with 0.3 ohms of resistance and a 400 V DC maximum operating rating.
The DC resistance is 0.3 ohms and the unit is rated for 400 V DC maximum operation, with tolerances of 15% on inductance and resistance. Inductance values are taken at the rated D.C. current and will fall slightly above it and rise below it.
Construction uses an economical open bracket channel mount. Units are vacuum impregnated with polyurethane varnish for quiet operation and long life, every unit is Hipot tested (100%) at 1,500 VAC, and leads are a minimum of 5" long.
