The 1557HGASKET is a replacement lid gasket for the 1557H and 1557HA enclosures, the 200 mm x 200 mm (7.87 in x 7.87 in) sizes of the 1557 Series in both 45 mm and 70 mm heights. It is listed in the series ordering table as a 2-pack and on the drawing as "Silicone Pre-formed Gasket Black (Pkg 2)".
Maintenance technicians, integrators and OEM builders use it to restore the lid seal after repeated opening, rework or modification of the enclosure. The 1557 Series lid uses two piece tongue and groove construction, and this one piece gasket is made from high temperature UL listed silicone; together they provide the protection against oil, dust and water that the enclosures are rated for.
