The 1556BAWH is a white 3.15 in x 3.15 in x 2.36 in (80 mm x 80 mm x 60 mm) enclosure from the 1556 series, for IoT equipment, printed circuit boards and small electronics that will live indoors, whether on a tabletop or mounted to a wall.
Molded in white flame retardant ABS with a UL94 V-0 rating and a light satin texture, it has rounded corners and a rounded face. Its lap joint construction protects against dust and splashing water and the enclosure is designed to meet IP54; the series is not designed for outdoor use.
The interior measures 74.40 mm x 74.18 mm with 55.00 mm [2.17 in] inside height, and the largest PC board it takes is 71 mm x 71 mm. Mounting locations in both lid and base accept #6 self-tapping screws, and the 1556BPL aluminum inner panel is available separately.
Included are the lid, four #6 x 1/2" high strength self-tapping Plastite screws and four rubber feet. For wall installation add the white 1556FOOTWH-4 foot kit, which supports heavy duty flange mounting or flush keyhole mounting; pole mounting uses PMB5057WKIT1 (7" max.) or PMB5057WKIT2 (15" max.) with #8 x 1/2" screws.
