The 1556BAGY is the light gray version of the 60 mm tall 1556BA enclosure, a 3.15 in x 3.15 in x 2.36 in (80 mm x 80 mm x 60 mm) housing for IoT modules, printed circuit boards and small electronics used indoors on a desk, shelf or wall.
The body and lid are flame retardant ABS carrying a UL94 V-0 rating, with a light satin texture and rounded corners and face for a modern appearance. A lap joint between lid and base guards against dust and splashing water, and the design meets IP54.
According to the drawing the interior is 74.40 mm [2.93 in] by 74.18 mm [2.92 in] with 55.00 mm [2.17 in] of inside height; the maximum board size is 71 mm x 71 mm. Boards mount directly to bosses in the lid and base using #6 self-tapping screws (PCB screw torque 42-56 ozf-in, 30-40 cN-m), or onto the optional 1556BPL aluminum inner panel.
Each enclosure ships shrink wrapped with the lid, four #6 x 1/2" Plastite cover screws and four rubber feet. Matching light gray wall mount feet come as 1556FOOTGY-4 for flange or flush keyhole mounting, and PMB5057WKIT1 or PMB5057WKIT2 pole mount kits suit poles up to 7" or 15". Shipping weight is 0.19 lbs (0.09 kg).
