The 1555W2GY is a square, low-height polycarbonate enclosure measuring 180 x 180 x 60 mm (7.09 x 7.09 x 2.36 in). Its UV stabilized light gray (RAL 7035) body and UL listing suit outdoor PC board and DIN rail electronics that need compact, sealed protection.
It is cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324 and tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. The UL94-5VA polycarbonate carries an IK08 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021 and a recommended operating range of -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).
The purchased assembly includes the box, lid, four M4 stainless steel cover screws (M4-0.7 x 20mm, replacement pack SC576-50) and a preformed silicone gasket. Screws are self captivating and thread into corrosion resistant inserts at 43-57 ozf-in (30-40 cN-m). The drawing shows an overall height of 60.10 mm, an inside length of 172.36 mm and an inside height of 51.20 mm.
Inside the 1555W2GY, molded DIN rail tabs, M3 brass inserts, #6 self tapping screw standoffs and 1.5 mm card guides support boards up to 167 x 167.5 mm. Four 4.30 mm wall-mounting holes sit outside the gasket channel and accept the 1554FT foot kit; the 1554WPL steel panel and 1554WGASKET are available separately.
