The 1555WA2GY pairs the square 180 x 180 mm footprint with a 90 mm (3.54 in) total height, giving outdoor and harsh-environment projects more vertical room than the 60 mm 1555W2GY. It is molded from UV stabilized, light gray RAL 7035 polycarbonate for integrators and OEMs needing a UL listed, sealed housing.
Ratings include cUL and UL 508A listing under file E65324, independent testing to IP66, IP67 and IP68, and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. The UL94-5VA material is rated IK08 per IEC 62262:2021 and recommended for -40°C to +110°C.
Supplied with box, lid, four M4-0.7 x 20mm stainless steel cover screws and a preformed silicone gasket, the enclosure uses tongue and groove lid construction and self captivating screws threaded into corrosion resistant inserts. Recommended torque is 43-57 ozf-in (30-40 cN-m).
The 1555WA2GY drawing lists an overall height of 90.10 mm, inside length of 171.32 mm and inside height of 81.20 mm. P.C. boards up to 167 x 167.5 mm fit, with DIN rail tabs, M3 brass inserts, #6 standoffs and 1.5 mm card guides molded in. Mount it through four 4.30 mm holes outside the gasket channel or add the 1554FT foot kit; accessories include the 1554WPL steel inner panel and 1554WGASKET replacement gasket.
