The 1555VB2GY is the tallest 240 x 160 mm enclosure in the 1555 Series, with a total height of 120 mm (4.72 in). Molded from UV stabilized light gray polycarbonate, it is intended for outdoor and harsh-environment installations where taller DIN rail components or PC board assemblies need a sealed, UL listed housing.
It is cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324 and tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68 as well as NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. Material flammability is UL94-5VA, impact rating is IK08 per IEC 62262:2021, and the recommended operating temperature range is -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).

The tongue and groove lid seals on a replaceable one piece silicone gasket supplied loose inside the enclosure. Wall-mounting holes (4X 4.50 mm) sit outside the gasket channel and double as the attachment point for the 1554FT foot kit. The 1555VB2GY accepts the 1554VAPL steel inner panel and uses the 1554VAGASKET replacement gasket; shipping weight is 1.34 lbs (0.61 kg).
