The 1555UF42GY is the deeper general purpose ABS enclosure in the U size of the 1555F Series. It provides a watertight rectangular housing with wall-mount flanges for indoor electronics that need more height than the 40 mm low-profile model offers, such as DIN rail devices or populated circuit boards.
It measures 7.87 x 4.72 x 2.56 in (200 x 120 x 65 mm) not including flanges. The drawing shows 240.00 mm [9.45 in] overall length with flanges, 218.00 mm [8.58 in] flange hole spacing, 65.20 mm [2.57 in] assembled height, 42.00 mm [1.65 in] inner box depth and 14.50 mm [.57 in] inner lid depth. Boards up to 189 x 107 mm are accepted, and shipping weight is 0.77 lbs (0.35 kg).
The part page lists ABS plastic, light gray, IP66 and UL94 HB. ABS versions of the series are for indoor use, are not UL listed, carry an IK07 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021 and are recommended for -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F).
Construction details include a satin RAL7035 grey finish, recessed lid face for a keypad or label, a two-piece tongue and groove seal with loose-supplied silicone gasket, and M4 stainless steel lid screws in corrosion resistant inserts behind the lid. Standoffs accept #4 x 1/4" self-tapping screws for the separately sold 1555UFPL inner panel.
